FAFS Fire & Security is a leading provider specializing in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automatic Fire Detection, Protection, and Alarm Systems across the Greater London area. We are currently seeking a dedicated Fire & Security Installation Engineer to serve the London region.
Compensation Package – £45-50,000 per annum based on experience

Role Overview
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Small Works / Installations Team on various projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion for systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarm Systems. The ideal Engineer will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and will be recognized for their contributions.
- Coordinate with the Lead Engineer on challenging sites, addressing any critical issues.
- Engage effectively with subcontractors and onsite clients.
- Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your designated area as needed.
- Ensure clear communication with clients and scheduling teams when organizing site visits.
- Utilize customer portals as directed by your Lead Engineer in line with client requirements.
- Assist the team with additional tasks as necessary.
- Occasionally support Service Engineers on specific assignments, which may require working outside your usual postcode area.
- Plan and respond to routine and reactive service calls in your area.
- Manage stock levels with assistance from the Stores team.
- Participate in training sessions as required.
- Attend Engineering team meetings as necessary.
- Identify personal training and development needs to enhance customer service delivery.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within Fire & Security Installation.
- Technical expertise in the electrical/electronic sector.
- Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with current industry standards and the ability to commission multi-disciplined systems.
- Self-driven and capable of organizing workload independently.
- Highly organized, professional, and proficient in computer skills.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
