About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at French Selection UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate leads for potential customers in the packaging industry
  • Communicate with factories to obtain prices, testing, and margin agreements
  • Drive the sales lead conversion process into prospects and potential customers
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure continuous sales support
  • Coordinate with product managers for customer visits and product knowledge
  • Analyze data related to targeted products and recommend pricing strategies
  • Set sales forecasts and annual budgets in coordination with senior sales managers
  • Follow up on unmet sales forecasts in coordination with senior sales managers
  • Draft a marketing expansion plan and achieve the plan by number of forecasted prospects
  • Conduct competitor studies, update, and analyze competitor profiles and offerings
  • Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication
Requirements
  • Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken)
  • Additional European languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian - advantageous
  • Experience in the sales of flexible packaging products for the food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and hygiene sectors
  • Self-driven, self-initiative, and responsible for growing sales of packaging products in the region
  • Team player, dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to changes
  • Happy to travel in the UK and Ireland on a weekly basis (50% time)
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of circa £50,000 plus bonus and car.
