Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Housing Operations Leader to oversee housing management services, ensuring a high-quality experience for residents. This role involves a blend of office-based and fieldwork responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a responsive and efficient housing management service that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure services are consistent and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Act as a resident advocate, facilitating prompt resolutions to issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of service charge details and provide residents with accurate information.
  • Address various community concerns, including waste management, vehicle issues, and tenancy breaches.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of properties and communal areas to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for legal proceedings and collaborate with legal teams as needed.
  • Identify and manage risks within the community, ensuring timely reporting and mitigation strategies.
  • Complete compliance-related tasks, including Fire Risk Actions, within designated timelines.
  • Assist in addressing inquiries and complaints from local representatives and residents.
  • Collaborate with specialized teams within the Housing Management division to enhance service delivery.
  • Work with estate service teams to ensure effective management of maintenance and cleaning contracts.
  • Engage with other departments to ensure swift responses to resident concerns.
  • Utilize performance data to understand community demographics and develop improvement plans.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the housing sector with a strong understanding of tenancy management.
  • Knowledge of property management, including communal inspections and service charge regulations.
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance in housing operations.
  • Operational knowledge of the regulatory framework governing housing associations.
  • Awareness of budget management principles and value for money considerations.

This role is essential in fostering a supportive and well-managed community environment, ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of service.
