The Senior Shopper Marketing Manager for the Global Travel Retail (GTR) sector is tasked with delivering outstanding shopper marketing initiatives, activations, and category management for the Global Accounts and Americas Channel. This role necessitates close collaboration with various teams, including Sales, Brand Marketing, and Commercial Marketing, to ensure that a customer-focused approach is consistently applied.

The successful candidate will be dedicated to developing and implementing comprehensive 360-degree campaigns that leverage consumer and shopper insights, driving growth for both Beam Suntory and its partners. With a strong analytical mindset, the individual will possess a proven ability to transform insights into actionable strategies across diverse consumer touchpoints, effectively engaging and converting shoppers both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exemplary omnichannel execution of brand strategies and objectives across all regional customers through targeted shopper programs. Develop a unified global strategy with clear activation guidelines to ensure consistency and high execution standards. Foster effective collaboration with Brand Marketing, Marketing Services, and Commercial teams to create a cohesive strategy. Oversee and manage agency partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with brand objectives. Implement a shopper-centric approach in all planning and execution efforts. Assist the brand marketing team in the development and execution of innovative product launches globally. Prioritize budget allocation to maximize ROI in key growth areas, ensuring activation in priority markets and channels. Co-develop educational tools for internal and external stakeholders regarding brand offerings, focusing on product features and tasting experiences. Utilize data-driven insights to inform key investment decisions, enhancing consumer and shopper engagement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Extensive experience (7-9 years) in trade marketing, retail marketing, or commercial planning within the FMCG or Travel Retail sectors. Exceptional analytical skills. Passion for category management and translating insights into actionable strategies. Strong understanding of P&L management and ROI principles. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Proven track record in managing and expanding product categories. Experience in digital and eCommerce marketing.
