About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Nurse to join our Bladder and Bowel Care Service at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with bladder and bowel conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients with bladder and bowel conditions, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers on bladder and bowel health and management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience in bladder and bowel care or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of bladder and bowel health and management.
