About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team at Resonate. As a key member of our agile development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software products through automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver World-Class Software Products: Collaborate with our development team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes.
  • Advocate for Build Quality and Test Automation: Influence others to adopt best practices in build quality and test automation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop Comprehensive Test Plans: Create and implement test plans and automated tests to ensure adequate test coverage of our applications.
  • Maintain Automated Test Frameworks: Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our automated test frameworks and test tooling.
  • Mentor and Support Team Members: Provide guidance and support to other team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
Requirements
  • Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, software testing principles, and industry-standard ALM tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub).
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java and/or JavaScript) for writing and maintaining test scripts.
  • API and Web Services Testing: Ability to test APIs and web services to ensure they function correctly within the application.
  • Databases and SQL: Understanding of databases and SQL for validating data integrity and performing back-end testing.
  • Test Automation Tools: Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit).
  • Complex Systems Experience: Experience working with complex systems with large datasets used in complex operational environments.
  • Minimum 5 Years' Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as an SDET or automated tester.
  • ISEB or ISTQB Certified: ISEB or ISTQB certified.
