As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and development of high-quality practices that meet performance targets set nationally and locally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chair child in care reviews and child protection conferences, using the Strengthening Families/Signs of Safety model.
  • Draw up robust and comprehensive plans for children and track their implementation according to necessary timescales.
  • Ensure that appropriate amendments are made to the client database regarding consultation and preparation for reviews, minutes of meetings, and the child's plan.
  • Demonstrate specialist knowledge of current child care legislation, the London Child Protection Procedures, government departmental circulars, and local arrangements.
