About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Oliver Bernard. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our company and driving innovation in our Investment Technology Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Software Engineers & Architects and work closely with our CTO to deliver technology solutions for our customers and clients.
  • Develop and implement effective software engineering practices and technologies to drive business growth and improve system architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and architects, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve our technical capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Principal Architect or Principal Engineer, with a strong track record of designing system architecture.
  • Solid experience in senior technology leadership roles, such as Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, or Senior Staff Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of building high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems.
  • A track record of successfully introducing effective software engineering practices and technologies into an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Java OO Language, service-oriented architecture, enterprise messaging solutions, and relational database design.
  • Expertise in Cloud technology, such as AWS / Amazon Web Services.
