Are you an accomplished academic with a significant background in teaching and research focused on cardiac function at the molecular and cellular levels? Do you have a strong research portfolio, experience in securing funding, and a commitment to embracing new academic challenges? Are you passionate about conducting innovative research and delivering an exceptional educational experience for students?
In this role, you will engage in research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities within our faculty and university. You will also play a vital role in providing academic leadership in the molecular and cellular domains of cardiac function.
Your collaboration with our Cardiovascular and Exercise Sciences research community will be crucial in advancing our mission to integrate research on heart function, neuromuscular interactions, and physical activity, while promoting innovative strategies for enhancing human health. This position is particularly suited for researchers with expertise in exploring the fundamental mechanisms of cardiac function in both health and disease, thereby supporting our overarching mission. As a researcher focused on molecular or cellular aspects, you will forge strong partnerships with the membrane biology cohort in Biomedical Sciences, The Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, and the Biodiscovery teams.
