Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our team of academic instructors. As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating engaging lessons in International A Level (IAL) Psychology and International GCSE Psychology. Your key responsibilities will include creating comprehensive lesson plans, delivering interactive classes, providing individualized support to students, assigning homeworks, and assessing their progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in International A Level (IAL) Psychology and International GCSE Psychology
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the needs of students
- Provide individualized support to students to ensure their academic success
- Assign homeworks and assess student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, or related field
- QTS or PGCE a plus
- Experience in teaching the British curriculum
- Experience in teaching/tutoring Psychology of at least 2 years
- Experience in LMS usage, lesson planning, and educational content creation
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in online teaching a plus
Timetable
The successful candidate will be required to teach a minimum of 6.5 live lesson hours per week, with the current timetable as follows:
- Mondays: 1pm-2pm Y12
- Tuesdays: 12:30pm-2pm Y12
- Wednesdays 12pm-2pm Y13
- Fridays 12pm-2pm Y13
