Job Title: Logistics Transport Coordinator
Location: Oxford
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Planet Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Logistics Transport Coordinator to support our client in the Oxford area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met. They will assist in the effective supply of products and services, ensuring they are delivered correctly to specification and schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with ADR legislation and maintain accurate records.
- Verify that packaging is sufficient for transportation and compliant with the goods being carried.
- Understand document requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain concise records by accurately updating systems and maintaining written records with issue and receipt information.
- Contribute to site operational efficiency by identifying potential improvements to processes.
- Operate in a manner that complies with the Health & Safety policy and report any non-conformities to the line manager.
- Provide regular updates on daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and data management.
- Knowledge of ADR legislation and regulatory compliance.
