**Job Summary**

Parke Lane People is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods and materials within our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Coordinate with stakeholders to arrange regular meetings and ensure effective communication

• Allocate freight forwarders with the planning team for weekly orders and maintain a fully informed supply chain

• Raise purchase orders and stock transfer orders on behalf of the planning team

• Generate and update weekly/monthly KPIs and scorecards for the department

• Ensure all necessary reports are up-to-date and in the correct format for our bespoke planning system

• Maintain an electronic database of shipping documents and handle related queries

• Support the logistics manager in resolving queries around import/export clearance issues, including excise/tariff enquiries

• Track dispatch and in-transit progress of orders placed and highlight non-conformance for late dispatch or extended transit time

• Liaise with planning, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams around inbound container bookings

• Monitor, report, and support the logistics manager in mitigating any upcoming demurrage costs

• Track and investigate returns and raise claims for lost or damaged product

• Provide cover for the logistics manager when required

**Requirements**

• Strong administration and customer service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good work ethic, proactive, and 'can-do' attitude

• Ability to spot problems and take initiative

• Good IT literacy, especially in Excel, and strong attention to detail

• Previous logistics experience is desirable but not essential
