Mental Health Worker Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a mental health worker to join a supportive team in a specialist school in Oxford.

The students in this setting have all been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). They are between the ages of 4 and 11 and have been exposed to adverse childhood experiences. These experiences have led them to have mental health struggles, which contributes to nervous system dysregulation.

The class teacher has specialized interventions, designed to meet the needs of the children and meet them where they are. The interventions are in place to build upon their skills, promote their independence and promote their overall mental health and wellbeing.

This specialist school is based in Oxford and offers its students the best help possible. They are looking to add someone to their team who can facilitate a high level of care and compassion for their students.
