Your Role: Grocery Demand Planner

We are seeking a skilled and data-driven Grocery Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain by accurately forecasting demand for groceries and household goods.

  • Forecasting Expertise: Utilize your analytical skills and market insights to generate precise demand forecasts, taking into account seasonality, trends, and customer behavior.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess stock while ensuring product availability.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online grocery and convenience retail, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions and maintain consistent product availability.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Lead regular S&OP meetings with stakeholders to review performance, discuss demand-supply gaps, and align on corrective actions.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and supply chain management within the online grocery or retail industry.
  • A strong academic background in Mathematics and Computing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in G-suite packages and advanced Excel tools. SQL and Python skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, inventory management, and distribution strategies specific to the online grocery and convenience sector.
