Job Title: Demand Planning Manager

Job Summary:

Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal on-shelf availability while managing stockholding to maximize revenue and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Coach the Team: Oversee a small yet effective team and lead them to ensure optimal service is provided to customers.
  • Prioritize On-Shelf Availability: Prioritize on-shelf availability for grocery customers, considering current stockholding, capacities, and forecasts.
  • Support Forecasting and Reordering: Support the team to provide accurate forecasts and provide recommendations for reorders, advising techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Embed Processes: Embed processes within the function to ensure all steps are completed in order to invoice.
  • Lead Sales Recap Meetings: Lead volume monthly sales recap meetings, presenting and reviewing relevant data.
  • Manage Customer Relationships: Manage strategic, key relationships with senior contacts in customer merchandising teams and ensure excellent service is delivered.
  • Collaborate with Other Functions: Collaborate with other business functions, including supply chain, procurement, and logistics, to report on wider business KPIs and address any issues.
  • Provide Insights: Use data to provide insights to both sales and product development teams to inform decision making and suggest recommendations.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience leading teams in a Demand Planning function, ideally within a FMCG environment.
  • UK Grocery Experience: Experience of UK grocery customers would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on Mindset: Hands-on mindset, with willingness to get stuck in with the team and help embed processes.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Global Stock Management: Experience of moving stock on a global scale across multiple locations would be desirable.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence at all levels.
