Wakefield Council is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to provide administrative support to our dedicated Public Health Intelligence team.

The Public Health Intelligence team, comprised of seven analysts, plays a vital role in shaping public health strategies by generating and analyzing data on the well-being of Wakefield residents.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the calendars and meeting schedules for the Public Health Intelligence Manager and Consultant in Public Health.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and handling correspondence.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite proficiently, particularly Teams, to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with finance and/or HR systems as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

While specific experience as a PA is not mandatory, you should possess strong administrative and organizational skills. Experience in coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and managing busy calendars is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Teams, is crucial. A background in information governance, data protection, or handling sensitive information would be highly advantageous.
