Administrative Assistant to Public Health Intelligence Manager and Consultant in Public Health
2 months ago
We are seeking a highly organized and administrative professional to join our small, friendly team at Wakefield Council. As an Administrative Assistant to the Public Health Intelligence Manager and Consultant in Public Health, you will be responsible for managing their diaries and supporting the team with various administrative tasks.
The Public Health Intelligence team, led by the PH Intelligence Manager, is a team of 7 analysts responsible for creating and reporting on a wide range of information about the health and wellbeing of our residents. The Consultant in Public Health line manages the team as part of their portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include coordinating and taking minutes of meetings, managing busy diaries and meeting requests, and providing administrative support to the team. Experience with Microsoft packages, particularly Teams, is essential. Familiarity with finance and/or HR systems would be an advantage.
We are committed to supporting the development of all our staff, and this role offers opportunities to work on specific projects related to the team's needs and your interests.
As the Public Health Intelligence Manager has responsibilities related to information governance, it would be beneficial to have experience of information governance, data protection, and/or working with sensitive or confidential information.
We offer a flexible working arrangement, with most team members typically working in the office 1-2 days per week. We can accommodate a flexible mixture of home and office working based on the demands of the role and the preferences of the successful candidate.
