About the Inventory Management Specialist Role:

Our client, a prominent entity in a specialized manufacturing field, is currently in search of a meticulous Inventory Management Specialist to become a vital part of their team. This position is crucial for facilitating the seamless execution of inventory-related functions within the organization.

Inventory Management Specialist Responsibilities:

Receiving Goods: Verify that received items correspond with orders and possess the appropriate delivery and compliance documentation. Log received items into inventory and store them in designated, well-maintained locations. Isolate non-compliant goods and collaborate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to resolve issues. Ensure surplus stock from production orders is accurately recorded back into inventory or disposed of as necessary, seeking management advice when needed.
Order Fulfillment: Efficiently prepare kits for production orders in a timely manner once stock is available or as directed by operations management. Assemble from inventory. Create kit boxes, warehouse, and line-side Kanban systems.
Maintaining Inventory Levels: Oversee minimum stock levels, including consumable items. Collaborate with Purchasing to monitor and establish thresholds for minimum stock and consumable parts.
Inventory Auditing: Manage and oversee stock counting and inventory accuracy assessments, including periodic cycle counts.
Shipping and Dispatch: Coordinate the prompt dispatch of finished products as requested by sales, operations, or reporting systems.

General Duties:

Ensure that all inventory areas are organized, tidy, and well-managed.
Adhere to company processes and protocols.
Inspect pallet racking for safety compliance.
Assist Quality Assurance and Purchasing in developing and adhering to ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards.
Engage in specific projects and tasks as required.
Perform any other relevant and reasonable duties as requested by management.

Inventory Accuracy
Goods Received Processed within 24 Hours
Goods Dispatched On Time and In Full (99%)

Inventory Management Specialist Skills and Experience:

Experience in warehouse and inventory control is essential.
Forklift operation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic computer skills and understanding of inventory flow management.
Fundamental numeracy skills.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
