About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at TRC Total Renal Care Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Conduct routine tests and procedures, such as measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet, with comfort working around blood and needles
