Salary: Approximately £42,000 (+£4,000 Car Allowance + Mileage) - UK Driving Licence Required

Hours: 37.5 per week / Monday-Friday

Role Overview:

The Health and Safety Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to health and safety regulations and standards across its operations. This position is vital for mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with our commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing health and safety policies.
  • Communicate essential health and safety information effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Support nurseries in creating and maintaining comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Act as the primary contact for health and safety inquiries within a designated division.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance and provide guidance.
  • Foster a culture of safety by promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably as an Advisor.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential).
  • Full clean driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the childcare or education sector.
  • Health and Safety training or coaching experience.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High energy and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
