Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team at WTW. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing an allocation of low-value claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Management: Manage an allocation of low-value claims, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with WTW's financial processes and procedures.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understand the Insurance Industry and claims handling processes, including the reserving process and audit procedures.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with the team to monitor Key Client Outcomes and take appropriate action to deliver pre-defined service standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all aspects of WTW's financial processes and procedures, including adherence to reserving processes within given authority.
  • Client Queries: Handle day-to-day client queries competently and in line with WTW's values.
  • Audit and Compliance: Understand and comply with the audit process, ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support and contribute to the Continuous Improvement Forum, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the claims handling process.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English at Level 4 and above.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systems.
