Payment Processor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Payment Processor to join our Finance team in Uxbridge. As a Payment Processor, you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver Pepper's industry-leading servicing proposition for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process mortgage administration activities and other daily tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • Upload payments, review bank statements, and administer refunds
  • Interact with customers and third parties via telephone and writing, providing excellent customer service
  • Liaise with clients, representing Pepper appropriately
  • End-to-end servicing of mortgages from completion to redemption stage
  • Work as part of a wider Primary Servicing team, undertaking additional tasks as required to ensure SLAs are delivered

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in banking, accounting, and/or payment processing
  • Good understanding of transactional activities relating to mortgage/loan accounts
  • Ability to identify and execute account-level remediation while ensuring accuracy when reviewing account transactions
  • Day-to-day decision-making with adherence to TCF requirements
  • Detail-orientated and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyze problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescales
