Plant Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Biogen UK Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in maintenance and repair of complex equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
  2. Performing repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, including electrical and mechanical components
  3. Conducting troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues
  4. Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth plant operations and minimize downtime

Job Details

Location: Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23 7LW

Job type: Full Time, permanent, 40 hours per week on a rota plus remote monitoring.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience + allowance + overtime + bonus

Benefits: 25 days holiday + BH, 4% employer pension and x4 life assurance
