Plant Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Biogen UK Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in a related process industry. You will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager with the maintenance and upkeep of our AD plants, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our AD plants
  2. Identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Collaborating with the Site Manager to develop and implement maintenance plans
  4. Providing technical support and guidance to other team members

You will be a self-motivated and flexible individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Experience of working with planned preventive maintenance systems and a full UK driving licence are essential for this role.

Job Details

Location: Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23 7LW

Job type: Full Time, permanent, 40 hours per week on a rota plus remote monitoring.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience + allowance + overtime + bonus
