About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychology and experience working with individuals with mental health problems or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Psychology and Psychological Services colleagues to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, formulate and implement interventions, and participate in relevant auditing and evaluation of clinical services.
  • Support the collection and reporting of evaluation data, such as CORE.
  • Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex information to individuals and their families.
Requirements
  • Upper second-class honors degree or higher in psychology.
  • Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health problems or disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work in highly emotive and emotionally charged settings.
