This is a full-time, permanent role, operating Monday to Friday. We are seeking a skilled Finance Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of the Accounts Department at Burtons Medical Equipment Ltd. This role involves assisting the Finance Director and the broader organization in ensuring the precise and prompt execution of financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Direct reporting to the Finance Director.
  • Providing focused assistance to the finance office.
  • Processing Purchase Ledger Invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment runs for suppliers.
  • Conducting daily banking activities, including ledger postings, bank statement entries, and reconciliations.
  • Managing customer credit limits, executing credit control measures, and efficiently collecting outstanding debts through regular communication.
  • Supporting basic administrative tasks such as filing, handling phone inquiries, and processing incoming mail.

We are looking for a polished individual with a strong work ethic, ideally with experience in a small team within a dynamic financial setting. Proficiency in computer systems and bookkeeping software is essential.

This role offers:

  • A full-time contract of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 33 days of holiday annually (including Bank Holidays).
