About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reward & Recognition Operations Specialist to join our Talent, Performance & Reward team at DeepMind Technologies Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, rethinking, and delivering reward processes and programs that support our organisational philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of compensation programs that align with our organisational goals.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on offer negotiation and compensation decisions.
  • Work with compensation metrics, reports, and tools to inform compensation decisions and forecast, report, and/or analyse compensation outcomes.
  • Develop and implement reward and recognition frameworks for the full organisational structure at DeepMind Technologies Limited.
  • Communicate effectively with senior partners and internal data & analytics teams to provide insights to the people analytics function, enabling insights-led business decisions.
  • Analyse available market data to assess the competitiveness of total compensation offerings at all levels of the business.
  • Lead compensation projects from design through execution, including modelling, project planning, communicating, and training in partnership with the rest of the Reward & Recognition team.
  • Continuously evaluate the efficiency of compensation programs, innovating and recommending changes to improve the effectiveness of our investment in total rewards.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience managing complex reward programs and creating and improving processes, ideally in a tech company.
  • Ability to assimilate ambiguous information from a wide variety of sources to provide meaningful and timely insights to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and care.
  • Proven experience of handling research and testing hypotheses to input into formulation of business approaches.
  • Proficiency using Google Sheets, with strong analytical skills.
  • Collaborative approach to stakeholder management, with experience of managing your own workload across an array of activity and projects.
  • Agile and flexible, with a willingness to learn from others at every opportunity.
  • Experience partnering with other teams and good communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships across an organisation.
