Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team at Ascension Executive Recruitment. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the HR team and working closely with management to ensure a positive and inclusive company culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Team Management: Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services and support to the business.
  • Union Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives to ensure effective communication and resolution of HR issues.
  • Company Culture: Work with management to develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • HR Issues: Oversee all HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and union representatives.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
