About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Product Governance team as an Assistant Vice President, covering Investment Banking. This role is a critical part of our organization, and we are looking for someone who can take ownership of key deliverables, lead on product reviews, and become an expert on the Product and Services Register.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on product reviews and assessments to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of our internal control framework.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness.
  • Identify and investigate potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement reports to communicate key findings from risk assessments, including control weaknesses and recommendations to control owners and senior management.
  • Execute reviews to determine the effectiveness of our internal controls framework aligned to established and evolving policies, regulation, and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in investment banking products and services, governance and oversight, stakeholder management, and regulatory implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information and convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the business to achieve objectives and support the control and governance agenda.
