Visitor Centre Manager Opportunity at Angus Dundee Distillers PLC

Angus Dundee Distillers PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visitor Centre Manager to join their team at Glencadam Distillery. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe operation and management of the visitor centre, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for guests.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain the visitor centre's facilities, including the retail space, tasting rooms, and whisky lounge.
  • Lead a team of staff to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, driving visitor numbers and revenue growth.
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue generation, ensuring the visitor centre operates within financial targets.

About You:

  • Proven experience in visitor services management, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue generation.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications, including online booking systems, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
