About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Street Works and Permitting Team within the Highways department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient use of the Lincolnshire Highway Network.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to Street Works Officers in the team.
  • Entering data into our IT systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinating and inspecting highway works under the Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.
  • Inspecting highway sites to ensure compliance with NRSWA legislation and the Permit Scheme.
  • Liaising with internal engineering teams and external utilities to ensure seamless communication.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A BTEC or A levels, or equivalent qualifications.
  • A demonstrable level of knowledge and skill suitable for the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.

You will be required to be mobile across the county, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
