About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished individual to ensure the efficient management of the Lincolnshire Highway Network in western areas, including Bourne, Stamford, and Spalding. The successful candidate will coordinate and inspect works on the highway, ensuring compliance with regulations and schemes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to Street Works Officers in the team.
  • Entering data into IT systems.
  • Coordinating highway works under the Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.
  • Inspecting highway sites to ensure compliance with legislation and the Permit Scheme.
  • Liaising with internal engineering teams and external utilities.

This is a full-time, entry-level position in the Street Works and Permitting Team within the Highways department. The team works in a hybrid model, with time spent in the office and on-site. Training will be provided to accomplish all tasks required by the role.


About You

The ideal candidate will possess a BTEC or A-levels or relevant qualifications, such as NRSWA Supervisors. A professional work ethic, good interpersonal skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential. The ability to communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships is also crucial.
