Job Title: Insurance Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrator to join our Underwriting Support Team in Cardiff. As an Insurance Administrator, you will be responsible for processing amendments to policies, liaising with brokers, and supporting the underwriting team with referrals and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process policy amendments and updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with brokers and other stakeholders to resolve queries and issues
  • Support the underwriting team with referrals and adjustments
  • Input accurate data onto bespoke systems and Microsoft Office systems
  • Issue documentation and manage daily post and diary
  • Deal with complex telephone queries and transfer them to relevant departments
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to tasks with ability to learn quickly
  • Customer-focused with experience in dealing with high-volume complex calls
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage workload in line with changing priorities
  • Team player with willingness to support others
  • Proficient in MS packages such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
