Role Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business sales within designated industry sectors, meeting group expectations from existing and potential clients while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Effectively execute telemarketing campaigns as directed.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by leveraging commercial expertise to develop specific regions and markets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Field Sales, Tendering, and Sewage Telesales teams.
  • Adhere to Group Health & Safety policies and practices.
  • Exhibit CSG performance behaviors.
  • Make outbound calls to prospective new and existing clients to promote the full range of CSG services in alignment with current marketing initiatives.
  • Professionally handle inbound calls from customers, promoting all CSG services through direct communication methods such as phone calls, emails, and exhibitions.
  • Develop new business relationships and generate revenue for the Group in line with annual invoiced revenue targets.
  • Contact, meet, and address customer needs by building a personal portfolio of clients and managing key accounts as necessary.
  • Effectively deliver telemarketing campaigns.
  • Utilize various methods to engage with companies in target areas and understand the waste management sectors within specific regions.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential clients to tailor CSG solutions to their needs.
  • Apply commercial awareness to introduce new initiatives and explore new markets.
  • Exceed monthly sales targets for new business sales, applying personal strategies as needed to achieve targets and foster sustainable growth.
  • Proactively build and maintain a solid pipeline of new business across the CSG portfolio.
  • Ensure effective communication between Tendering, Marketing, Field Sales, and Sewage Telesales teams.
  • Act on all leads and customer information provided by the field sales, marketing, sewage telesales, and tendering teams.
  • Share any individual market research conducted with the tendering, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Complete all sales administration accurately and submit it by deadlines.
  • Log all customer activity in the CRM system, including interactions, calls, emails, meetings, opportunities, quotes, and complaints.
  • Comply with the Group's Health & Safety policy and ensure personal responsibilities are understood.
  • Act in a manner that prioritizes safety for yourself and colleagues at all times.
  • Demonstrate and provide the highest levels of service and professionalism to both internal and external customers.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage telephone and email inquiries.
  • Results-driven approach, focusing on outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and proactively propose ideas and solutions.
  • Demonstrates understanding through various verbal and non-verbal cues.
  • Proficient IT skills, with experience in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others to meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification in Science, Business, or Environmental Studies.
