Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Support Specialist. As a key member of our pastoral team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our 16-19-year-old students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their attendance, personal goal setting, and development needs.
  • Deliver tutorial content to students, contributing to the development of our tutorial program.
  • Liaise with curriculum and support staff to advocate for students, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Model professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic digital literacy to access and use our college systems.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.
