Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Sales Team in the UK & Ireland Market

McCormick & Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Consumer Commercial Team in the UK & Ireland. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our business by developing and executing a strategic plan that drives profitable growth.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy encompassing sales, gross margin, and profit objectives for the UK & Ireland market.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at both company and customer levels, fostering strategic partnerships that drive mutual success.
  • Direct resources effectively to maximize market penetration and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Spearhead the acquisition and retention of new business, leveraging your expertise in negotiation and relationship management to secure profitable contracts.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and mentorship to your direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to identify and solve complex business challenges, driving innovation and operational excellence.
Your Profile:

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of success in the FMCG industry.

  • Extensive experience in sales within the UK retail landscape, demonstrating a deep understanding of the market dynamics and key players.
  • A history of successfully leading and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large P&Ls, driving profitability and financial performance.
