Position Overview

Title: Sustainability Assistant Manager, Real Estate Management

Location: London

Compensation: Up to £40K Depending on Experience

Are you dedicated to environmental stewardship and looking to contribute significantly within the real estate industry? We are seeking a Sustainability Assistant Manager to join our Real Estate Management team in London. Our client operates in numerous countries, integrating on-site service delivery with the strategic execution of their sustainability initiatives across various properties.

This position involves on-site service delivery within the Real Estate Management sector, concentrating on the execution of the sustainability strategy for diverse mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate will primarily work on-site across multiple locations, fostering strong collaborative relationships while leading strategic initiatives and enhancing client and tenant engagement.

Key Duties:

  • Advocate for and implement exemplary practices within on-site property management teams.
  • Provide extensive sustainability services, improving environmental performance.
  • Oversee data management and reporting, as well as facilitate stakeholder discussions.
  • Encourage sustainability innovations and support strategic sustainability goals.
  • Exhibit a customer-focused approach, with outstanding communication and presentation capabilities.

Candidate Profile:

  • BSc/BA in Environmental Science or a related discipline; MSc or MEng preferred.
  • Progressing towards IMEA or a comparable qualification.
  • A minimum of one to two years in a sustainability-oriented position.
  • Proficient in managing sustainability metrics such as energy, water, waste, and carbon emissions.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a proactive, resourceful attitude.
  • Familiarity with applying sustainability principles in the real estate sector is advantageous.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with the capability to develop complex formulas.
