If you are seeking a fulfilling position within a collaborative environment, this role is ideal for you. This position is based in our RS Local Aberdeen Branch, operating Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

As a key member of our dedicated branch team, your responsibilities will include effective communication with our trade customers to assist them in locating their required products, as well as managing our inventory and stock levels. Comprehensive training will be provided, but a proactive mindset is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

In the capacity of a Branch Assistant, you will report directly to the Branch Manager.

Your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service by understanding our customers' needs and fostering strong relationships. You will also address and resolve customer inquiries, ranging from general questions to technical issues, while providing guidance on delivery options and dispatches.

Additionally, you will engage in various warehouse and stock management tasks, including picking and packing activities.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Experience in a Customer Service or Retail environment
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and shift focus as needed
  • Proficiency in computer usage
  • A friendly demeanor coupled with a proactive attitude
