Nurse - Physical Health Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Physical Health Team in Essex. As a Band 6 Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of physical health assessments to individuals with severe mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical support to junior colleagues and act as a clinical expert in physical health assessments.
- Contribute to the assessment of physical and mental health needs, with a focus on improving the physical health of individuals with severe mental illness.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with primary care professionals, community services, and other stakeholders.
- Support the smooth running of physical health clinics, including booking appointments, conducting assessments, and creating care plans.
- Ensure compliance with NMC Code and Standards of Practice, as well as relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements- Registered Nurse - Mental Health/Learning Disability/General with current registration with the NMC.
- ENB 998 / Preceptorship and or Practice Supervisor and Assessor Training.
- At least 3 years' experience post-registration at Band 5 and community nursing experience.
