Job Summary

Downtown Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with our key customer accounts, ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Load computer system with accurate customer order information, including Works Order and Purchase Order placement.
  • Order Fulfillment: Maintain Works order dates and Enquiry files with relevant and up to date information, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in line with agreed delivery dates.
  • Margin Analysis: Ensure margin analysis is accurately completed for all customer orders.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all invoices are raised accurately and maintain customer records.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and improve quality levels within the company.
  • Administrative Support: Take and redirect incoming calls, perform general office administration, including filing, and observe good Health and Safety practices.

Requirements

  • Quick Learner: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and within a team.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:15am - 5pm, Friday: 8:30am - 1pm

Salary

£25,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
