Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the sales interests of Stericycle and promote our services to potential customers and prospects.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers and liaise with sales executives to book appointments for them to present our document destruction services.
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls to customers and prospects.
  • Respond to and target prospects through tele-sales activities.
  • Create and follow-up prospect lists based on SAP, direct mail campaigns, online marketing leads, and vertical or specific market segments determined by the manager.
  • Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Meet and exceed productivity and activity targets set out in the annual Performance Agreement.
  • Provide daily input to the UK sales force, including opportunity identification and lead generation.
  • Record and report all activity required by service centre management and large account sponsors.
  • Remain current with external conditions, including clients, competitors, business trends, new business developments, service rates, and practices, to optimize Stericycle's presence in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • A background in appointment making or telemarketing.
  • Fully understand and be able to deliver the key benefits of our service, managing objections in a polite and professional manner.
  • Experience working in a sales-driven target environment.
  • Ability to work on different campaigns and adjust easily.
  • Good rapport-building skills.
  • Resourceful and adaptable.
  • Energetic and highly motivated.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office and Windows environment computer skills.
  • Self-disciplined and organized.
