About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Support Specialist to join our team at Sword. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and management of our customers' portfolio of applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use of OSI PI systems and other related applications.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues related to application performance, data flows, and system configuration.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and to implement new features and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions to improve application performance and user experience.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an Applications Support Specialist or Technical Support Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of OSI PI systems and related applications, including data flows, system configuration, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement new features.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages, such as C# and Python.
