Job Description

Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team at Client Server. As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our proprietary trading systems built with C#.Net, from front office order management and decision-making tools through to back office trade reconciliations.

About the Role

  • Support the development and maintenance of our trading systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with software developers, testers, and business analysts to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Provide 3rd line support for our trading systems, working closely with internal stakeholders to gather information, provide feedback, and progress updates.
  • Work in a hybrid work-from-home model, with regular on-site meetings in London.

Requirements

  • Commercial Application Support experience, ideally within a Fixed Income or trading environment.
  • Strong technical skills with SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python scripting.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills.
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
