About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Support Specialist to join our Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Resolve IT application incidents, service requests, and problems promptly, using maintenance, support, and incident management processes to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Support and Maintenance: Monitor availability, performance, and throughput of applications, prioritize and schedule support tasks, and provide ad-hoc training to end-users.
  • Change Management: Ensure capacity, availability, security, and support requirements are considered in changes, implement, test, and monitor IT application changes according to plans.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with IT suppliers to ensure timely resolution of incidents and collaborate with the Service Centre to resolve incidents and service requests efficiently.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in FNZ Figaro, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Objectif Lune PlanetPress, and INVU Document Management, with experience applying software release management techniques and completing application testing.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the financial services sector, with knowledge of ITIL v3 Foundation and experience working in an ITIL aligned environment.
  • Soft Skills: Skilled in IT problem diagnosis and resolution, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
