Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to adult patients in a correctional institution
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain confidentiality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Delegate tasks and workload as needed
  • Provide coverage as needed to meet institutional needs
Requirements
  • Valid unrestricted Virginia RN license
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience in a correctional setting
