Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Risk Analyst to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in underwriting, with a minimum of two years' experience in relevant roles such as underwriting, broking, or claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing of applications by monitoring the mortgage pipeline in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all applications received, utilizing both manual and computerized systems as per operational guidelines.
  • Generate Loan Offers that adhere to Lending Policies and procedures, for review and approval by senior management.
  • Dispatch Mortgage Offers and Solicitor Instructions as necessary, following the approval process.
  • Address inquiries from customers, intermediaries, or solicitors through appropriate communication channels.
  • Execute all administrative tasks related to the Loans Underwriting process as outlined in the policy and procedures manual.
  • Compile completion details for each case at the conclusion of the process for further transmission to the relevant departments.
  • Authorize Loan Offers presented by Mortgage Assessors within designated authority limits and recommend approvals to senior personnel as required.
  • Develop and maintain the Departmental Procedure Manual and any other relevant documentation as necessary.
