Position Overview:

The Treasury Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of Treasury with daily treasury functions and will report directly to the VP of Treasury.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the uploading of positive pay issuances across various banking platforms.
- Monitor daily cash balances to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Process FF&E reimbursements to lenders efficiently.
- Execute ACH and wire payments accurately.
- Review monthly analysis fees for discrepancies.
- Recommend investment opportunities for surplus cash in savings and certificates of deposit.
- Reconcile treasury-related general ledger accounts including those for investors and debt.
- Oversee the daily management of cash and debt obligations.
- Ensure timely tracking and payment of hotel mortgage loans.
- Maintain compliance with reserve accounts and contractual obligations associated with loan documents and operating accounts.
- Foster relationships with lenders regarding cash management, transfers, payments, and associated fees and deposit rates.
- Propose distributions and capital calls as necessary.
- Conduct daily bank controls to verify that all payments are accurately debited to the appropriate accounts and analyze returns.
- Assist in determining daily cash positions and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with Accounting/Finance and other departments to facilitate timely payments and support month-end closing processes.
- Complete all tasks related to the establishment and closure of bank accounts.
- Provide support to both Corporate Accounting and Hotel Accounting with banking needs, including wire and ACH payment processing.
- Develop and implement protocols to ensure compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with the Chief Accounting Officer on special projects as needed.
