Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial reporting strategies that meet the needs of our shareholders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Develop and produce timely and accurate financial reports, including interim and annual consolidated financial statements, monthly management accounts, and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Management Accounting: Provide management accounting services for our property and holding companies, including producing monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • External Reporting: Work with our group finance manager to provide regular review of financial accounting standards and updates, prepare and produce standalone statutory accounts, and assist in the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
  • Internal Reporting: Maintain schedules, prepare monthly journals, and produce group monthly and statutory income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow.
  • Requirements:
    • Part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to liaise with other teams to ensure efficient monthly processes
    • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Navision
