About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operational Improvement Business Partner to join our team at Western Power. As a key member of our Asset Operations team, you will be responsible for developing, driving, and delivering continuous improvement initiatives aligned to our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvement projects to achieve tangible business benefits in line with our strategic plan.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in supporting the building and maintaining of a framework for operational improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to achieve business benefits and drive performance targets to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and mentor Operational Improvement Business Partners, Project Managers, and other business employees on improvement best practices.

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong background in business process improvement, project management, and leadership. You will have a proven track record of delivering significant business benefits and driving cultural change in a complex environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified in Lean Six Sigma or related business experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 10+ years of business process improvement experience.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement training, development, and mentorship.
  • Proven success in leading organizational and cultural change.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence at all levels of management.
