About the Role

The University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Performance and Operations Manager. This role will play a critical part in the effective management of inpatient and outpatient performance in the Corporate RTT Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the Corporate Referral to Treatment team across the Bristol and Weston sites at UHBW.
  • Support the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and promote a positive working environment for staff.
  • Proactively manage the 18-week referral to treatment pathway and ensure achievement of access targets in line with National, regional, and Trust objectives.
  • Lead service improvement initiatives in booking processes to improve performance and support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of managing a range of staff or a major service.
  • Significant experience of budgetary management, including management of contract income.
  • Acute sector operational experience.
  • Experience and proven ability in managing organisational/service change.
